Introduction

President Donald Trump is going to Ankara, Turkey. He wants to talk with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at a NATO meeting.

Main Body

President Trump likes President Erdoğan. Turkey has a very big army. Turkey is in a good place on the map. The US wants to sell military planes and engines to Turkey again.

川普總統很欣賞埃爾多安總統。土耳其擁有強大的軍隊,且地理位置優越。美國希望重新向土耳其出售軍用飛機與引擎。

But Israel is not happy. Prime Minister Netanyahu says this is dangerous. He says Turkey helps Hamas. He does not want Turkey to have new US weapons.

President Trump also wants to talk about Iran and Ukraine. He wants a deal to stop nuclear weapons. He will also meet leaders from Ukraine and Syria. Russia wants to talk to him too.
