⚡ The Power of 'Many'

In this story, the word "Many" appears everywhere. For A2 learners, this is the easiest way to talk about a large number of people or things without needing exact numbers.

How to use it: Many + [Plural Noun] \rightarrow Many people / Many prisoners / Many family members

🛠️ Building Simple Past Sentences

Notice how the story tells us what happened using simple action words. To move to A2, you must change the action word to the Past:

  • Start \rightarrow Started
  • Break \rightarrow Broke
  • Come \rightarrow Came

Pattern: [Person] + [Past Action] + [Detail] Example: "Two groups \rightarrow fought \rightarrow on Sunday."

🔍 The "Too" Rule

Look at this sentence: "The prison is too full."

When we use too before an adjective (like full, hot, big, or expensive), it means there is a problem. It is more than what is okay.

  • Too full = Not enough space (Problem!)
  • Too hot = I cannot breathe (Problem!)
  • Too many = More than we want (Problem!)
