🛑 STOPPING VS. STARTING
In this text, we see two opposite actions. Let's look at how we use them to describe events:
-
Start → To make something begin.
- Example: "A person started the fire."
- Example: "Rain and storms may start more fires."
-
Stop → To make something end.
- Example: "Workers try to stop the fire."
📍 WHERE IS IT? (Place Words)
To reach A2, you need to connect a thing to a place. Look at these patterns:
- In + [State/City] In Colorado / In the West
- At + [Specific Spot] At a military base
Quick Tip: Use "In" for big areas (countries, states) and "At" for a specific point or building.
