🛠️ The 'Power' Words

Look at these words from the text. They all describe who is in charge or doing the work:

  • Manages → To control or run something.
  • Help → To work together to finish a task.
  • Work together → Two people or cities doing the same job.

💡 A Simple Pattern: [Person/Place] + [Action]

In A2 English, we keep it simple. We put the Subject first and the Action second.

From the text:

  • Hong Kong (Subject) \rightarrow tests (Action) a new system.
  • John Lee (Subject) \rightarrow says (Action) it is safe.
  • Experts (Subject) \rightarrow say (Action) Hong Kong can set prices.

Try this logic for your own life:

  • I \rightarrow manage \rightarrow my money.
  • My friend \rightarrow helps \rightarrow me.

🌍 City Names

When we talk about cities, we don't use "a" or "the".
