🚨 The 'Action' Secret

Look at these words from the story. They tell us what happened in the past. To talk about the past in English, we often just add -ed to the end of the word.

The Pattern:

  • Start → Started
  • Climb → Climbed
  • Use → Used

⚠️ The 'Rule Breakers'

Some words are 'rebels'. They don't follow the -ed rule. You must memorize these because they change completely:

  • Fight \rightarrow Fought
  • Do \rightarrow Did (Does \rightarrow Did)
  • Fall \rightarrow Fell
  • Go \rightarrow Went

Quick Guide: Now \rightarrow Then I fight \rightarrow I fought I go \rightarrow I went
