Introduction

A big fight happened at a prison in Negombo, Sri Lanka. 26 people died and many others are hurt.

斯里蘭卡尼甘波的一座監獄發生了一場大規模衝突,造成 26 人死亡,多人受傷。

Main Body

The fight started because of illegal drugs. Some prisoners told the police about the drugs. Other prisoners became angry and attacked. They used bricks and poles. The police used guns to stop them. Some prisoners also broke the security cameras.

這場衝突起因於非法藥品。部分囚犯向警方舉報藥品,導致其他囚犯憤而發起攻擊。他們使用了磚塊和長桿,警方則使用槍械制止。部分囚犯還毀壞了保安攝影機。

The prison is too small. It is for 650 people, but 2,400 people lived there. This is a big problem in Sri Lanka. Many prisons have too many people. This makes the prisoners angry and violent.

The government sent soldiers and big trucks to the prison. They moved 734 prisoners to other prisons. Now, three groups are studying the fight. They want to know why this happened.

Conclusion

Soldiers are still at the prison. The government is looking for the truth about the deaths.
