🌧️ The 'Past' Pattern
Look at how the story tells us things that already happened. To move to A2, you need to see how words change to show the past.
The Change Rule: Most words just add -ed at the end.
- Rain Rained*
- Close Closed*
- Lower Lowered*
The 'Rule Breakers' (Irregular): Some words change completely. You must memorize these!
- Go Went*
- Fall Fell*
- Break Broke*
Quick Check: "Water went into streets" (It happened before, not now). "Trees fell" (It happened before, not now).
