Quick Tip: If it is one club (He/She/It), add an -s → Wants If it is many players (They), no -s → Want

Action Words: Buying vs. Selling

Money moves in two directions in football:

  1. Buy (Get something new) →\rightarrow Chelsea bought Geovany Quenda.
  2. Sell (Give something away for money) →\rightarrow Tottenham wants to sell players.

Notice the change: Buy →\rightarrow Bought (This happened in the past). Sell →\rightarrow Sell (This is a plan for the future).
