Introduction

A tall building in New York had a big problem. People had to leave their homes and offices to stay safe.

Main Body

The building was an old office. Workers wanted to make it into apartments. On Tuesday, July 7, two big metal poles broke. The floors between level 21 and 26 started to bend.

Police and fire workers closed the streets. They closed five blocks of the city. A school with 400 students and some hotels were in this area. People could not go inside.

Conclusion
