🕒 The 'Right Now' vs. 'Finished' Trick
Look at how we talk about the people in the stories. There are two ways to describe their status:
1. It happened and it is over (Past)
- The police caught the man. (Action finished)
- He hurt her. (Action finished)
2. It is happening or true now (Present)
- The nurse is very sick. (Current state)
- The police are watching him. (Happening right now)
💡 Quick Tip for A2: If you see -ed (like attacked), it usually means the story is in the past. If you see is/are, the story is about the present moment.
