🕒 The 'Past Action' Logic

In this story, everything already happened. To move to A2, you need to see how we change words to show the past.

1. The Regular Pattern (+ed) Most words just add -ed at the end. It is like a signal that says "this is over."

  • Wait \rightarrow Waited
  • Stop \rightarrow Stopped
  • Check \rightarrow Checked

2. The 'Rule Breakers' (Irregulars) Some words change completely. You must memorize these because they don't follow the -ed rule.

  • Say \rightarrow Said
  • Do \rightarrow Did
  • Find \rightarrow Found

3. The 'No' Word (Did not) When we want to say something didn't happen, we use did not + the normal word.

  • Wrong: The clinic did not waited. ×\times
  • Right: The clinic did not tell. \checkmark

Quick Tip: If you see "did not," the main verb stays in its simple, present form!
