Introduction

Heavy rain in Bangladesh caused landslides. Many Rohingya refugees died or were hurt.

Main Body

On Wednesday, a wall at a school fell. Eight girls died and five people were hurt. On Monday, eight more people died. Five of them were children. There were 193 landslides in the hills.

More than 1.2 million refugees live here. They live in simple houses made of bamboo and plastic. These houses are on steep hills. The houses are not strong. More heavy rain will come in the next three days.
