🚩 The "NOT" Trick

To reach A2, you must know how to say "no" using verbs. Look at these two ways from the text:

1. For a state or a thing (is/have)

  • He does not have a team. \rightarrow (Wrong: He no have)
  • The Cowboys have not asked him. \rightarrow (They didn't do it)

2. For an action (play/like)

  • He does not play as well. \rightarrow (He is older now)
  • The Cowboys do not like to pay. \rightarrow (They want to save money)

💡 Quick Pattern

Subject + do not / does not + Action

  • I \rightarrow do not like
  • He/She \rightarrow does not like

🛠️ Word Swap

Instead of saying "no play," always use "does not play" when talking about one person (like Von Miller).
