🕵️ Action Words (Past Tense)

When we talk about things that already happened, the words change. Look at these pairs from the text:

  • Send \rightarrow Sent (Italy sent two men home)
  • Steal \rightarrow Stole (They stole secret information)
  • Go \rightarrow Went (A man and woman went to prison)

The Rule: Most words just add -ed (like accused), but some are "rebels" and change their whole shape.
