⚡ The 'Quantity' Pattern

In this story, we see how to use numbers with things (nouns) to describe a big situation. For A2, you need to know that we just put the number before the word.

Examples from the text:

  • 39 people \rightarrow (Number + Person)
  • 5,700 boats \rightarrow (Number + Object)
  • 800 snakes \rightarrow (Number + Animal)

🛠️ Action Words (Past vs. Future)

Look at how the story changes time. This is the key to moving from A1 to A2.

What happened (Past):

  • Broke (The dams broke)
  • Died (People died)
  • Ran away (Animals ran away)

What will happen (Future):

  • Is coming (Bavi is coming)
  • Will bring (It will bring rain)

Quick Rule: If it is finished \rightarrow use the -ed form (mostly). If it is a plan \rightarrow use will.
