✈️ The 'Comparing' Trick

In this story, we see a battle between Old and New. For an A2 student, knowing how to switch these is key to describing things.

The Pattern:

  • Old \rightarrow Something from the past.
  • New \rightarrow Something just made.

From the Text:

  • Old plane \rightarrow New plane
  • Old tools \rightarrow New tools

🛡️ Power Words (Comparatives)

To reach A2, you must describe who is 'more' or 'less' of something. Look at how the text compares the US and Iran:

"The US military is stronger than Iran."

How to build this: Short Word + er + than

  • Strong \rightarrow Stronger than
  • Safe \rightarrow Safer than
  • Fast \rightarrow Faster than

Quick Tip: Use this when you have two things and one 'wins'!
