🏠 The 'Ownership' Pattern

To move from A1 to A2, you need to describe who has what. Look at these three ways to talk about property from the story:

1. The 'Possessive' Word Instead of saying "The house of the couple," we say:

  • Their house \rightarrow (It belongs to them)
  • Their home \rightarrow (It belongs to them)

2. The 'Action' Word (Got back) When you lose something and then find it, use get back:

  • The couple got their house back.
  • I got my keys back. \rightarrow (I had them, I lost them, now I have them again).

3. The 'State' Word (Gone) When something is not there anymore, use gone:

  • The furniture was gone.
  • My money is gone. \rightarrow (It is missing/empty).

Quick Vocabulary Map: Permission \rightarrow Saying "Yes" to something. Tenant \rightarrow A person who pays to live in a house.
