Introduction

The government has new information about fires in Canada. There are many fires, but they are smaller than last year.

政府有關於加拿大山火的新資訊。目前雖然有許多火災,但規模比去年小。

Main Body

There are 3,100 fires. Only 12,000 square kilometres burned. This is much less than last year.

目前共有 3,100 起火災。僅有 12,000 平方公里被燒毀。這比去年少得多。

British Columbia has big fires. Strong winds destroyed buildings and closed roads. Many people had to leave their homes.

英屬哥倫比亞省發生了大火。強風摧毀了建築物並導致道路封閉。許多人不得不離開家園。

The Prairies are very hot. There is a lot of smoke in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This is bad for people's health.
