⚡ The 'Action' Word Shift
In English, we change the end of a word to show when something happened. Look at these two patterns from the text:
1. Now (Present)
- The Fed is studying AI. Happening right now.
- Markets are waiting. Happening right now.
2. Finished (Past)
- He made five groups. It is finished.
- Microsoft cut jobs. It happened already.
📦 Small Word, Big Job: 'If'
We use 'if' when we are not 100% sure about the result.
- Checking if Microsoft used visas correctly.
- Tells them if interest rates will go up.
Simple Rule: Use if [Possible Choice A] or [Possible Choice B].
