🛑 Stop & Go (The 'Cannot' Pattern)

In the text, we see: "He cannot go to the Al-Aqsa Mosque."

What is this? When you want to say something is impossible or not allowed, use cannot. It is a strong way to say 'no'.

Examples from real life:

  • I cannot speak Chinese. \rightarrow (Impossible for me)
  • You cannot park here. \rightarrow (Not allowed)

A2 Tip: To describe how long something lasts, use for. To describe when something happened, use in.
