Introduction

Health workers are studying a sickness in the United States. Many people in the Midwest are sick.

Main Body

People in 31 states have this sickness. In Michigan, more than 1,500 people are sick. This is a very high number. A small parasite causes the sickness. People eat dirty water or fresh vegetables and get sick. They have stomach pain and diarrhea.
