Circle

Introduction

Circle is a company that makes a digital coin called USDC. Now, the US government says Circle can work as a national bank.

Main Body

Circle can now hold its own money. Before, they needed other banks to help. This is easier for the company. It also helps them follow one set of federal rules instead of many state rules.

But Circle has a problem with privacy. Some people use special systems to hide their money. Circle tried to stop $12.6 million of bad money. They could not find the bad people easily.

Because they could not see the bad people, Circle stopped the money for many users. Some of these users did nothing wrong. They lost their money because of other people's crimes.

Conclusion

Circle is now a bank. But the company must find a way to stop bad people without hurting good users.
