🧩 The "Power of Description"

To move to A2, you must describe things using Adjectives (describing words). Look at how the article describes the ship:

  • Big \rightarrow Size
  • Fast \rightarrow Speed
  • Deep \rightarrow Distance/Location
  • Safe \rightarrow Condition

The Rule: In English, the describing word comes before the thing.

Example: Special paint (Not: paint special) Example: Small companies (Not: companies small)

⚓ Action Words (Simple Present)

The text uses the word "has" and "is" to show what something possesses or how it looks right now.

  • It is big. \rightarrow (Identity/Quality)
  • It has missiles. \rightarrow (Possession)

A2 Tip: Use "has" for one thing (The ship has...) and "have" for many things (The ships have...).
