In Telangana, a man killed six people. He killed his wife and children. He used a knife. The police are now in trouble because they did not stop him.

1. Things that already happened (Past) We add -ed to the action word or change it completely.

  • kill → killed
  • want → wanted
  • use → used

2. Things happening now (Present) We use the word as it is, or add -ing.

  • look → looking
  • fight → fighting

Quick Rule: If the person is finished with the action \rightarrow Use -ed. If the person is still doing it \rightarrow Use -ing.
