Introduction

Pastor Fred Alimet started a group to help disabled people in eastern Uganda. He helps them get to the hospital.

Main Body

Many people in rural Uganda believe disabilities are curses. Because of this, some families leave their disabled children or tie them up. These people do not get real medical help.

在烏干達許多鄉村地區的人們相信身心障礙是一種詛咒。因此,有些家庭會遺棄身心障礙的孩子,或者將他們綑綁起來。這些人無法獲得真正的醫療幫助。

Fred Alimet started a group called Cherish Ikoku Uganda in 2024. Uganda does not have enough ambulances. Fred uses his own big car to take sick people from small villages to the Soroti hospital.

Doctors are free at government hospitals, but medicine costs money. Fred does not have much money to pay for everyone. He works with Dr. Sam Ecengu to teach people about health. They want families to love and help disabled people.
