🕒 The "Past Story" Pattern

When we tell a story about something that finished, we often add -ed to the action word. This is how we move from basic English to A2 level.

Look at these changes from the text:

  • Stop \rightarrow Stopped
  • Crash \rightarrow Crashed
  • Start \rightarrow Started

⚠️ The Rule Breakers Some words are "rebels." They don't use -ed. You must memorize these because they appear in every conversation:

  • Fly \rightarrow Flew (Not "flyed")
  • Have \rightarrow Had (Not "haved")
  • Get \rightarrow Got (Not "getted")

💡 Quick Logic: If you see Flew, Had, or Got, the event is over. It is in the past.
