⚡ The 'Action' Pattern

In this story, we see a simple way to describe fights and goals. Let's look at how to use Want and Do.

1. What they WANT (The Goal) When someone has a dream or a requirement, use: Subject + want + to + action.

  • US \rightarrow wants to move freely.
  • Iran \rightarrow wants to control the water.
  • Qatar \rightarrow want to help.

2. What they DID (The Fact) When the action is finished, just change the verb (add -ed or use the past form).

  • Want \rightarrow (Goal)
  • Attacked \rightarrow (Action happened)
  • Died \rightarrow (Action happened)

3. Quick Word Swap Instead of saying "angry," you can use these simple A2 words:

  • Disagree (They don't think the same thing)
  • Dangerous (Not safe)
  • Avoid (Stay away from)
