Israel Takes Beaufort Castle

Introduction

The Israeli army now controls Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon. They took the castle in May and June 2026.

Main Body

Beaufort Castle is on a high hill. Soldiers can see the river and towns from there. The Golani Brigade and other groups took the castle.

Soldiers also found long tunnels under the ground. These tunnels had bathrooms and doctors. Iran and North Korea helped build them. The tunnels helped Hezbollah move and hide.
