⚡ The 'Action' Word Trick

In this story, things happened in the past. To tell a story, we usually add -ed to the end of the word.

Look at these changes:

  • play → played
  • help → helped
  • keep → kept (Special word!)
  • win → won (Special word!)

💡 How to use this for A2:

If you want to talk about your yesterday, just look for the action and add the ending.

Example from the text: "The South Sydney Rabbitohs won the game."

Your turn to think: If you play football today, you played football yesterday.
