🛑 STOP & LOOK: The 'Action' Words
In this story, everything is in the Past. This means the things already happened.
The Pattern: Most of these words end in -ed. This is how we tell a story about yesterday.
- attack → attacked
- stay → stayed
- help → helped
⚠️ THE TRICKY ONES
Some words are 'rebels.' They don't use -ed. You just have to remember them:
- run ran
- hit hit (stays the same!)
- throw threw
💡 QUICK TIP
When you see -ed at the end of a word think "Old News" (it's finished!).
