Introduction
Mariano Rajoy was the leader of Spain. Many people are angry with him because of a story he wrote about the French football team.

Main Body
Mr. Rajoy wrote that the French team has no French players. He wrote this before a big game between Spain and France.

Spanish leaders did not like this. Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said the words were bad. He said people are French if they love France, not because of where they come from.
