🏃 The 'Past Action' Pattern
To talk about things that already happened, we often just add -ed to the end of the action word. Look at these changes from the story:
- Help Helped
- Join Joined
- End Ended
Wait! What about the others? Some words are 'rebels' and change completely. You just have to memorize them:
- Run Ran
- Win Won
- Give Gave
- Come Came
Quick Tip: If you see -ed, it's usually a regular past action. If it looks totally different (like won), it's an irregular past action. Both tell us the event is finished.
