Introduction

Police in Bengaluru arrested a 22-year-old delivery man from Flipkart. He went into a woman's house without permission.

The man, Vijay, came to deliver a package. He asked to use the bathroom. The woman said no many times. He took off his shoes and went inside anyway. Then, he showed his private parts to the woman.

When we tell a story about something that already happened, we change the action word. Look at how these words change in the text:

  • Arrest →\rightarrow Arrested
  • Go →\rightarrow Went
  • Say →\rightarrow Said

  • Write →\rightarrow Wrote

Two Simple Rules:

  1. Most words just need -ed at the end (Arrest →\rightarrow Arrested).
