In this news story, we see the word too used to show that something is a problem. For A2 learners, this is a quick way to describe negative situations.

How it works: TOO + Adjective \rightarrow It is a problem.

Examples from the text:

  • Too much money \rightarrow Spending more than they have. (Bad!)
  • Too hot \rightarrow The temperature is not comfortable. (Bad!)
