⚡ The Power of 'TOO'

In this story, we see a pattern where too is used to explain why something was impossible.

The Rule: too + adjective \rightarrow It is more than enough/too much.

Examples from the text:

  • "Too dark" \rightarrow Not enough light to see.
  • "Too strong" \rightarrow The water had too much power.
  • "Too fast" \rightarrow The speed was dangerous.

🌊 Action Words (Past Tense)

To tell a story about the past, we add -ed to the end of most words. Look at these changes:

  • Listen \rightarrow Listened
