📈 Talking about Change

In this story, we see how prices move. To reach A2, you need to describe things going up or down.

The Pattern:

  • Go up \rightarrow Increase / Get higher
  • Go down \rightarrow Decrease / Get lower

From the text:

  • "The stock price went up fast" (Past of go up)
  • "Then it went down" (Past of go down)
  • "The price fell" (Another way to say went down)

Quick Logic: If something is cheap and becomes expensive \rightarrow It goes up. If something is expensive and becomes cheap \rightarrow It goes down.

Example for you:

  • Today it is 20 degrees. Tomorrow it will be 10 degrees. \rightarrow The temperature goes down.
