⚡ The 'Ability' Switch

In this text, we see how to talk about what people can and cannot do. This is a key part of A2 English.

1. The Positive (Yes)

  • "He can earn a lot of money." \rightarrow He has the ability/possibility.

2. The Negative (No)

  • "He cannot play for the rest of the year." \rightarrow He is unable to play.

💡 Simple Pattern for You:

Person + can/cannot + Action
