🥊 Action Words: Past vs. Future

In this story, we see two ways to talk about time. To reach A2, you must know the difference between what happened and what will happen.

1. The Past (It is finished) We add -ed to the end of the word to show the fight is over:

  • Happen → Happened
  • Plan → Planned (similar to planning)
  • Beat (Special word: it doesn't change!)
  • Won (Special word: win → won)

2. The Future (It is a plan) We use will or might before the word:

  • Will return → (100% sure)
  • Might fight → (Maybe/Not sure)
