⥠The 'Want' Pattern
In the text, we see a very useful word for A2 students: Want.
It is used to show a need or a goal. Look at how it changes based on who is speaking:
- The team wants â (One group / Singular)
- Ten people want â (Many people / Plural)
Simple Rule: If it is one person or one team, add an -s. If it is many people, do not add an -s.
đ ī¸ Useful Action Words (Verbs)
Here are three different ways the teams are trying to get new leaders:
- Hire â To give someone a job.
- Look for â To search for someone.
- Fire â To tell someone they no longer have a job.
Example Path: Looking for a boss Hiring a boss (If they are bad) Firing the boss.
