Too Many Peacocks in Punta Marina

Introduction

The town of Punta Marina has many peacocks now. This causes problems for the people who live there.

Main Body

There are about 120 peacocks. The birds left the forest to find safe gardens. They wanted to hide from foxes and dogs. During COVID-19, there were fewer people. The birds grew in number for thirty years. Some people are angry. The birds make loud noises at night. The birds also make the cars and streets dirty. Other people like the birds. They think the birds are beautiful. In 2022, the town tried to move the birds. But animal groups stopped them. Now, the town wants to try again.

Conclusion

The people in Punta Marina still disagree about the birds.
