Learning

🌍 Moving from 'Here' to 'There'

Look at how the story tells us where people are. We use Prepositions (small connector words) to show place.

The Pattern:

  • In → Used for cities or countries.
    • Example: In Astana, In Kazakhstan.
  • At → Used for a specific point or building.
    • Example: At the airport, At the summit.

🕰️ Talking About the Past

To reach A2, you must change action words (verbs) to show something already happened. Most words just need -ed at the end.

Word Change:

  • Arrive → Arrived
  • Talk → Talked
  • Finish → Finished

The Exception (Irregular): Some words change completely. You must memorize these!

  • Go → Went (President Erdogan went to Turkistan).
  • Meet → Met (He met with President Tokayev).
