New Leaders at the FDA
Introduction
The FDA is a government group for food and drugs. Many top leaders left the FDA recently.
Main Body
Many bosses left their jobs. Marty Makary, Tracy Beth HΓΈeg, and Katherine Szarama are gone. Now, new people like Kyle Diamantas and Mike Davis are doing the work. In the past, the leaders did not follow old rules. They used social media to talk about vaccines. They fired many scientists and hired people who did not have government experience. Some leaders fought about vaccines and e-cigarettes. Now, many drug companies are unhappy. They think the FDA is not using science.
Conclusion
The FDA has no permanent leaders now. The government wants to find new leaders to fix the agency.
