🔍 The Power of 'S'

In this text, we see a pattern when talking about one person.

The Rule: When the subject is one person (He/She/Joe), the action word needs an -s at the end.

  • Joe Rogan says... (Not: Joe Rogan say)
  • He thinks... (Not: He think)
  • He fears... (Not: He fear)

The Exception: When we say someone does not do something, the -s disappears because the word 'does' takes it.

  • They do not like... → (Plural/Group)
  • These police do not have... → (Plural/Group)

Quick Guide for A2: Person \rightarrow Action + S Example: The government wants to send immigrants away.
