科羅拉多州的一家法院更改了關於兩名救護員的決定。這兩名男子涉及 2019 年 Elijah McClain 死亡的案件。

Main Body

The paramedics said they followed their old training. They said the drug did not kill the man. One man, Peter Cichuniec, still has one crime on his record. But he does not go to prison now.

救護員表示他們遵循了之前的培訓。他們聲稱該藥物並未導致該男子死亡。其中一名男子 Peter Cichuniec 的紀錄中仍有一項罪名。但他目前不需要入獄。

Other police officers were also in this case. One officer is guilty. Two officers are not guilty. The city of Aurora paid 15 million dollars to the family of Elijah McClain.

🕒 The 'Past' Story

When we talk about things that already happened, we often add -ed to the end of the action word.

Look at these changes:

  • Change \rightarrow Changed
  • Follow \rightarrow Followed

The Exception (The 'Rebel' Words): Some words don't follow the -ed rule. You just have to remember them:

  • Give \rightarrow Gave
  • Say \rightarrow Said
  • Pay \rightarrow Paid

Quick Guide for A2: If you want to tell a story about yesterday or 2019, check if your word is a 'Regular' (add -ed) or an 'Irregular' (change the word completely).
