⚡ The 'Action' Pattern
Look at how these sentences move. They are short and use simple words to show a sequence of events. This is the fastest way to tell a story in English.
The Pattern:
Person → Action → Object/Place
Examples from the text:
- He → took off → his handcuffs
- He → jumped into → the driver's seat
- He → hit → the ground
💡 Helpful Tip for A2: When you want to describe something that happened, don't use long words. Use a Subject and a Strong Verb.
Compare these: ❌ The individual proceeded to exit the vehicle. (Too hard!) ✅ He jumped out of the car. (Perfect A2 English)
Vocabulary Spotlight:
- Drove away = Left in a car.
- Hit = Touched something with force.
- Free = Not in jail.
