🕒 The "Past" Action

In this story, things already happened. To tell a story about the past, we often add -ed to the end of a word.

Look at the change:

  • Stop \to Stopped
  • Visit \to Visited
  • Start \to Started

⚠️ The Special Case: "Happen"

Not every word follows the -ed rule perfectly. Look at happen:

  • Present: It happens every day.
  • Past: An explosion happened.
