⚡ The 'Change' Pattern
Look at how the story describes things moving up, down, or staying the same. This is a key part of A2 English.
1. Staying the Same
- Kept... the same → No change.
- Did not change → No change.
2. Going Up (Increasing)
- Grew by 7.8% → Bigger.
- More expensive → Higher price.
- Go up → Higher price.
- More foreign money → More amount.
3. Going Down (Decreasing)
- Grow slower → Less speed.
- Weak → Less power/value.
- Removed a tax → Take away.
💡 Pro Tip: If you want to describe a trend, use: [Subject] + [Action Verb] + [Amount/Direction].
Example: The rupee → is → weak.
