🛠️ The "Action-Result" Pattern

In this story, we see a simple way to describe accidents: Subject + Action + Object.

  • The Pattern
    • A bus (Who) \rightarrow hit (Did what) \rightarrow a car (What).
    • A car (Who) \rightarrow fell into (Did what) \rightarrow a river (Where).

🕒 Past vs. Now

Notice how the story jumps between things that already happened and things happening right now.

Yesterday (Past)Today (Now)
The bus hit him.Police are checking.
Workers saved them.People are okay.

Key Tip: Use "-ed" for finished actions. Use "are + -ing" for things still happening.
