⚡ The 'Action' Words
Look at how the story tells us what happened. All these words are in the Past. To tell a story about yesterday, we usually add -ed to the end of the word.
- fix → fixed
- want → wanted
- help → helped
- arrest → arrested
⚠️ The Rule-Breakers
Some words are 'rebels.' They don't follow the -ed rule. You must memorize these:

- Say becomes → Said
- Find becomes → Found
💡 Simple Pattern
Person + Past Action + Thing
Borda + took + the gun
Police + found + the people
