⚡ The 'Past Action' Pattern

In this story, we see a lot of words that tell us something already happened.

Look at these changes:

  • See \rightarrow Saw (I see it now \rightarrow I saw it yesterday)
  • Ask \rightarrow Asked (I ask a question \rightarrow I asked a question)
  • Hit \rightarrow Hit (This word stays the same!)
  • Push \rightarrow Pushed (I push the door \rightarrow I pushed the door)

💡 The A2 Rule: Most of the time, just add -ed to the end of the action word to move it to the past. But be careful! Some words (like see becoming saw) are 'rebels' and change their whole shape.
